The Karma Cat Cafe is located at 612 E Broadway St, Mt Pleasant, MI. It is a cat shelter where guests can come and pay to play with the many cats that they house, enjoy some drinks and snacks and even buy merchandise for themselves or their own furry friend. The Cafe even has cats up for adoption if you find the one that's puuurfect for you.

Mallory Callahan chills with a sleeping kitten on her lap. “I’ve loved on a lot of cats today,” she says, gesturing to all the cat hair on her shirt.
Becky Hamilton feeds some treats to an eager cat.
Michael Dahle sits and enjoys the cat's company, “I own a cat with my girlfriend, she wants another one but the one we have now is already a handful on his own” he says chuckling.

Today I learned that cats are very hard to take pictures of. Every time I went to take a picture of one, it would look away or turn around. I also learned that people are actually pretty accepting of having their picture taken, everyone I asked was so nice and understanding about it. It always makes me feel a little weird asking strangers if I can take their picture because it feels like I may disturb them. Worst case scenario is that they say no, which really isn’t that bad.

Picking just 3 pictures was also pretty hard, I took over 100 so to widdle it down was difficult. Obviously, not all of them turned out great but there were so many cute ones of just the cats. While I wanted to focus on the cats, I wanted to choose three pictures with different people interacting with the cats to show how sweet and precious all the cats were.
